Joanna was in every way the perfect choice of hair stylist for my wedding. I was recommended Joanna by my bridesmaid who had worked with Joanna as a bridesmaid before. Not only did I love the hair styles she had created but I was told she is a lovely person to communicate with and be around. The recommendations were 100% correct! Joanna has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She's extremely organised, flexible and accommodating; in short everything you need as a stressed bride trying to plan your dream wedding! I was planning my wedding from abroad, and Joanna was so easy to communicate with, always responding so quickly to my emails, and being available in the limited time I was in the U.K. Joanna also recommended my makeup artist to me, Louise Lerego, and the two of them worked together to create a schedule for the day. Joanna did different styles for me, my three bridesmaids and my mother for the wedding day and I adored every single one. I didn't think I could have my dream hair for my wedding since my hair is fine and straight, but Joanna made it happen, and it lasted for two days! Not only that but Joanna was calm, organised and professional on the day, even helping to calm me down on the morning of my wedding! Thank you Joanna, I really hope we can meet again!

We all absolutely LOVED our hair (I think you could also tell from the bridesmaids' comments on the day who preferred it to their own weddings!!) and your work with us on the day and organising the lead up (and with me at the trial) was perfect. Nothing was too difficult and your calmness meant that asking for additional things (and always getting them) was even easier.  More than that, you were a pleasure to have with us on the morning - great company and a really calming influence on what could've been a stressful morning.

Joanna jumped in to save the day when my first wedding day trial was nothing short of an absolute nightmare only a few weeks before my wedding day!! She took exactly the style I wanted and made it even better, she was friendly, polite and I couldn't of asked for more!

I had a low bun with a birdcage veil and clip which can be difficult to work with but Joanna made sure I was 100% happy with how it looked on the day! Best hair stylist I've come across and a massive bonus that she was lovely and I'm glad she was a part of my day! Thank you again Joanna, hope you don't mind I'm recommending you to everyone :-) xxx

I'm so happy I choose Joanna to do my wedding hair. She helped me work out how to create the style I really wanted - which was longer than my actual hair - using amazing extensions that my husband didn't even notice  (!). They went beautifully with the flower crown I had chosen and I felt amazing. On the big day she did hair for me, my bridesmaids and my Mum and was calm and relaxed but completely professional. We all looked great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone else.

I just want to say thank you for the AMAZING job you did with mine, and my three bridesmaids hair. I picked you as I could see from your website that you have similar taste in hair styles to mine, not too traditional, modern and loose, but still special enough for a wedding.

I picked out a few styles I liked to trial and you did such a great job with all of them that it was a real struggle to pick. The trial was so so helpful and you were so easy to get on with I felt very confident that my hair would look great on the day. We weren't able to do trials for the bridesmaids but even without, based on just a few photos you got the individual looks they wanted with ease on the morning of the wedding. Even including a request for baby spice buns, which I'm sure doesn't come up often! The florist supplied some fresh flowers for us to choose from and you incorporated them beautifully. We all had so many compliments, and we all felt we looked like the best version of ourselves, rather than a set "wedding" style.

The schedule sent before the wedding, including all our hair and make-up times, was a big weight off my shoulders knowing we would all be ready on time (I think we had 15mins to spare!). We all loved how our hair looked and all the styles look great in the photos throughout the day. I think the best thing was that I didn't have to worry about checking/ fixing my hair at all. The style stayed put, even through a 2 hour set from a ska band on a very hot dance floor, which for a style that looked very loose and natural is such a skill.

I can't recommend you enough! I wish you all the success you really deserve, you're a diamond!

I found Joanna's details online and contacted her straight away after seeing so many gorgeous hairstyles that she had created for brides. From the start she was efficient with correspondence. It was lovely to finally meet her at the trial, she took on board my likes but also gave lots of suggestions. More importantly she was honest on what would look good in my hair to ensure I looked my prettiest on my wedding day.

On the day Joanna and her assistant managed to make all our hair look fantastic, this was a huge task with 9 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls and myself. All the bridesmaids hair tied together nicely in various different plaits along with pearl pins and she was great with the young flower girls who had never had their hair done properly before. The bridal party received many compliments about their hairstyles from other guests at the wedding. It was lovely to have Joanna be a part of the morning of my wedding. She remained calm and kept everyone on schedule, most importantly she was enthusiastic the whole way through. I would highly recommend to Joanna to any future brides.

I honestly can't thank Joanna enough, she is incredibly talented. She listened to my ideas and created exactly the right look for me and my bridal party. From initial communication to the finishing touches on the big day, I knew I could trust her, which meant I could relax! She is lovely and friendly so we all felt really comfortable on the day. Her assistant Kirsty was also terrific. When two of my bridesmaids changed their minds at the last minute, Joanna and Kirsty didnt make a fuss and they got it all done perfectly in time. Joanna is a total star and I could not have wished for better! I would definitely recommend to all brides-to-be. 

I booked Jo to do my hair and my 5 x bridesmaids for my wedding in Italy in May this year. From the moment I spoke to Jo, she listened to my ideas and she sent over different styles ahead of the hair trials. I honestly have never met anybody with the patience that Jo has. I was really torn between wearing my hair up and having it down and knew I needed something that would work in the Italian sun. Jo was more than happy to try different styles and options during the trial to see what worked best.

Before the wedding Jo sent a detailed schedule with timings for all 6 of us and also added time in to do blow-drys for my mum and my husband's mum. On the day we had a few set backs due to makeup artists running late and the schedule changing slightly as some of us weren't there on time! But Jo was amazing and took it all in her stride without panicking and adapted the schedule as she went. Having her sister there as an Assistant also helped with getting everybody ready and she was equally as lovely and friendly as Jo. Having them both there on the morning really helped to create a calm atmosphere and made everybody feel at ease.

When creating each of the styles you can tell that Jo is an absolute perfectionist and if she spots a hair out of place she is keen to get it gone! And she secured it down so well there isn't a chance of anything coming loose or falling out! Even when our driver started speeding down the roads in our convertible wedding car it didn't move an inch!!!!

Cannot thank Joanna enough for how my wedding day turned out. She was amazing, and made my dreams of a vintage up-do come true! She really made me feel beautiful on the big day and even provided a "touch up" kit to keep my hair in shape for the whole day and in case of emergancies. Joanna is absolutely brilliant! From the moment she arrived at my hair trial I knew I could stop worrying about my hair. She worked with me to create a style perfect for me, my dress and the venue so I couldn't wait to have it done on my wedding day!
